PANEL DISCUSSION: How can we build diversity, equality, and representation into a net-zero world? Could there be a parallel power transition?

The radical changes of the transition present an opportunity to build diversity, equality, and representation into the new industries and systems as they are designed. This panel will explore:

  • What social imbalances could the energy transition address?
  • Is an ESG-oriented world more favourable toward ‘soft skills’? What could we teach and measure?
  • What is the risk to leaders of the energy transition should targets not be met? Does this risk outweigh the reward?
  • Are we already too late for this conversation? What needs to happen today to realise an optimum outcome?
